OK.  I guess you could say that we are slow, or maybe lazy, but there were a few factors working against us.  Curtis got through about half of the almost 1800 pictures when his laptop died.  Fortunately, backups did work and the effort was saved once a new laptop was acquired.  Also, the website at that time was on an old version of software, so updating it seemed like the right thing to do before putting more photos out there.  Then time got away from us with other concerns in the family.  So, here we are; the photos have been whittled down to *only* 660, the site has been updated, and we're almost ready to post pictures from this year's vacation.  The photos can be seen here, or just drill down through the photo gallery menu to find them under Travels and Sightseeing.

The menus for the Weisenborn Photos have now be completed.  Enjoy and/or reminisce.

Our website has been updated with a new version of the site software to take advantage of some new features and security updates.  Except for the menu system, It should look familiar but with a few minor differences.  This meant rebuilding almost everything including the Photo Albums.  Older articles were not reproduced, but most Photo Albums have been reproduced.  The Weisenborn Family Photos, however, are in progress.  Videos have not been carried over at this time since they will need to be updated to be compatible with newer browsers.

I call this a vacation though some might argue that since we're retired, we're always on vacation.  We've lived in Colorado for 10 years and haven't seen a lot of the sights of the state, so we set out to partly remedy that.  We left home on August 27, 2015 and drove the back way to Salida, then went over Monarch Pass and continued to Montrose before heading south through Ooray to Durango.  We spent the next day at Mesa Verde National Park, took two of the tours of the ruins, plus another self-guided tour of another.  We haven't done that much hiking in a while,

Angel continues on her excellent adventures, this time with friend Stephanie, on a dive trip to Isla de Roatan, Honduras.  Check out her pictures in the photo albums, or click here to go directly to the album.

The first few days of May, we traveled to New Jersey for niece Katie's wedding.  Since we were going there, we took a couple of extra days and visited Philadelphia and New York City since they are close.  Pictures from those side trips are in the Photo Albums under Travels and Sightseeing here.  Katie's wedding was on Saturday.  The pictures from the wedding are located in the Miscellaneous section here
